Happy Valentine’s Day 2021!

Amanda Gorman said it so beautifully today. Although I am still blubbering a bit, I want to make today the first post I’ve made since sometime in 2019!

It’s nearly Valentine’s Day and I want to wish you all the love, kindness, peace and comfort you are ready to receive. Line up with it, friend! We have a lot of work to do in the next several years, and we need to remember that LOVE reigns supreme.

While flipping through an Audubon collection of award-winning photographs, I found one of a Sandhill Crane shot from above looking down upon its head. To my surprise, I saw that the red cap the Sandhill wears is actually in the perfect shape of a heart when viewed from above.

In that spirit, I offer my most recent mosaic, “Heart Sandhill Cranes!”

Happy Valentine’s Day 2021!
